Of the 11 Munros on the main Cuillin Ridge of Skye, all but 2 require scrambling to reach their summit, and are acknowledged as some of the hardest-won peaks in the UK. Over 5 days, weather-permitting, we aim to summit them all…

The 12th Munro,  Blaven, is a walk-able outlier off the main ridge, and can be added on as an extra day ( £150 per group), or used as an alternative if the weather is poor on the main ridge.

Otherworldly knife-edged ridges
Staggeringly beautiful
The most impressive peaks in the UK

This course has the same content and objectives as our 4 day munro course; the extra day removes a lot of pressure, giving us much more versatility in terms of combining routes, allowing us to either do a shorter, easier day, or even take a rest day if legs or weather aren’t quite playing ball! For those concerned about multiple long days, a 5 day course is easier than a 4 day one!

 Sample Itinerary:
Day 1: Sgurr nan Eag, Sgurr Dubh Mor and Sgurr Alasdair (6-10 hours)

Day 2: Sgurr Mhiccoinnich and In Pinn (8 hours)

Day 3: rest/weather day or short day “mopping up” any missed munros (0-4 hrs)

Day 4: Sgurr Banachdaich, Sgurr a’ Ghreadaidh and Sgurr a Mhadaidh (6-7 hours)

Day 5: Sgurr Gillean, Am Bhasteir, Bruach na Frithe (8 hours)

Weather and ability will determine the exact routes taken, but we will aim to prioritise the more difficult peaks, such as the In Pinn, where possible.

The trip will be run by Neil personally. He has operated out of Skye for several years now, walking, scrambling, climbing and sea-kayaking. His love for the Cuillin is unmatched. As a qualified Mountaineering Instructor, offering coaching, tips and instruction throughout, as well as the physical security of a rope when required, you will be in the safest of hands, allowing you to tackle not just the Munro peaks but the magnificent scrambling in between with confidence and security.

Group sizes are kept very low to maximise your safety, enjoyment and chances of success.

A very good standard of fitness is required for these five big demanding days. ⛰️⛰️⛰️
